Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance;
in troubles, hardships and distresses;
in beatings, imprisonments and riots;
in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;
[2Cor.6:4-5]
It is a great thing to be a servant of the Lord and to endure the difficulties that come along the way.
It is a joy not to live as a servant of the world. And it is also a joy to overcome various tribulations that come from living as a servant of God.
Let us look to Jesus Christ, the true servant of God, who gives us the strength and power to overcome death.
