October 31, 2024 – Delegates from member countries in the Asia-Pacific region attended the 32nd World Olivet Assembly (WOA) General Assembly at JeJu All Nations Center, joining others from around the globe in a gathering centered on the theme of the Great Commission, based on Matthew 28:19-20. This world assembly brought together pastors, leaders, and believers from different nations to share God’s Word and discuss ways to strengthen the mission of the church.
During this time of fellowship, the Asia-Pacific delegates exchanged insights on the unique challenges and successes each country has faced, sharing wisdom and strategies for spreading the gospel. They engaged in in-depth discussions on how to expand the impact of the gospel in the rapidly changing societies across their region. Drawing from various missionary methods and strategies experienced in their own countries, the delegates played a vital role in discussing how churches in the Asia-Pacific can continue to grow and thrive.
The assembly was a meaningful opportunity to reinforce cooperation and unity among Asia-Pacific countries, as leaders shared a renewed commitment to God’s Word and the Great Commission. The delegates participated actively in worship services and diverse sessions, joining the WOA community’s vision of making disciples of all nations to the glory of God.
One Asia-Pacific delegate shared, “We are grateful for the opportunity to come together, share experiences, and strengthen the bond and unity among Asia-Pacific countries. Together, we will move forward to fulfill the mission of spreading the gospel message to all nations.”
