The 2025 Great Commission Mission Conference (GCMC), themed “Jesus, the Light of the World,” was held at OAPC from August 14–16. The three-day event encouraged participants to renew their Christian identity and mission, and to listen for God’s heart for the nations.

Some 17 countries were represented among missionaries and local workers, bringing firsthand reports from mission fields and creating a powerful atmosphere of intercession and shared burden for the unreached.

The conference program featured deep expository teaching on Romans 1–4, missionary-challenge sessions from field workers, and regional reports (including filmed and live updates) that moved many participants to prayer—most notably a testimony from a Ukrainian missionary who shared the reality of ministry amid conflict.

In addition to plenary Bible expositions and testimonies, attendees could choose from practical elective seminars addressing topics such as Christian dating and marriage for young people, overcoming depression and anxiety, and “Why doesn’t God answer my prayer?” The program also included campfires, forest prayer times, recreational events and Polaroid photo moments that fostered fellowship and spiritual refreshment.

Organizers described GCMC as an inter-denominational forum where churches and mission groups unite around the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20), aiming to pass vision to the next generation and rekindle zeal for gospel advance.

Participants left encouraged to carry Christ’s light into the world, renewed in their sense of calling to proclaim Jesus to the ends of the earth.
